one in a million
We’re so excited to welcome baby girl into our family in November. We figured let’s have some fun with a maternity shoot and of course we had to do it different. when mei mei looks back on these photos in the future, We want her to see what a badass her mama is, and show her that girls don’t always have to be dainty and demure.
Carol came up with the idea of a 90’s themed shoot, inspired by aaliyah, TLC, and the likes. as usual, We couldn’t have done this without the help from a couple friends. Pei Lee helped with the styling and art direction. She also shot the photos of the two of us together and behind the scenes footage. Rea Kim handled hair and makeup. And of course, calvin photographed everything on 35mm and 120 film (Kodak Gold and Portra 400 since everyone is wondering).
